Well, looky here- we found the tipping point!

So, I'm listening to one end of a phone conversation yesterday ago where the caller on the other end is complaining to the person at my end about politics- specifically the president-elect.
But the caller wasn't upset about who the president-elect was. The caller was upset with a particular announcement that had been made. Want to take a guess about what the caller was upset about?

Was it putting Wall Street cronies and Washington insiders on his staff- breaking the oft-repeated campaign promise to “drain the swamp”? Nope, that was just campaign talk!
Was it naming a white power enthusiast as his “chief strategist”? Oh, come on- he's a really good guy.
Was it because a key staff member suggested to Reuters that a registry of Muslims was something that the administration was mulling? Not even!
Was it another key staff member suggesting that an interment camp for said Muslims wasn't out of the question, as there was precedent for the action? Nah- 'cause you gotta do what ya gotta do, right?
Was it because of the refusal to distance himself from his business holdings because "presidents can't have conflicts of interest"? Of course not- that's just good business, right?
Was it "calling out" media outlets and basically telling them that they'd 'better not report mean stuff about him'? Well, everyone knows the media is chock-full of looney leftists, right?
Was it because supporters belittle opponents and mock their "safe spaces", but then chief Oompa Loompa demands one for himself and his second in command because an actor delivers a very respectful address to the VP-elect? Well, he's just looking out for his boy, right?
Was it because he settled a lawsuit and paid fines for violating state education laws because you the president-elect shouldn't have to testify in open court because national security? Well, no. National security!
Was it because he selected an attorney general nominee whose track record since his election to the U.S. Senate in 1997 has seen said nominee support a constitutional ban on same-sex marriage, vote against reauthorizing the Violence Against Women Act, and opposing expanding hate crime laws to include sexual orientation, opposing reducing mandatory minimum sentences for low-level drug offenders, and voting in favor of loosening cellphone wiretapping restrictions? Well, what's wrong with that?
Every instance of lying? Brushed aside.
Slights against women, minorities, immigrants, the handicapped? Ignored.
But do an about-face on his campaign pledge to have the Department of Justice investigate Hillary Clinton over her email server and the Clinton Foundation, though? Well, that's just too fucking much! That's where the line is drawn! That's what pissed off this particular Trump supporter!

Add it to the list of things that make me ask “Are you fucking kidding me?”
